Process

Moving into a new home can be an exciting time. But we also know how stressful it can be. At Perrysburg Moving & Hauling, we take the stress out of your move. You can leave the packing and moving to us so that you can enjoy your new space and neighborhood.

Our professional packers and movers take great care in handling your personal items. They follow our three-step moving process which consists of prepping, packing, and moving your belongings seamlessly to your final destination, hassle and damage free.

Step 1: Prep

We carefully prepare your items for packing using soft padding to protect all of the items in your home. Things like glass tables, chairs, couches, mirrors, dressers or lamps, these items need to be carefully prepped and padded in order to protect them in the truck. Our professional packers and movers do this by wrapping each of the items in blankets or padding to protect them during the move.

We also prep your home for the move by placing neoprene runners on all high-traffic areas, and by covering the stairs, banister, door jams, etc., just in case any contact is made while carrying the furniture.

There are also a few things that you can do to help in the prepping process. Make sure to have smaller, loose items packed away or set aside. Also, appliances should be disconnected and emptied (if being moved), bulbs removed from lamps, as well as have all electronics unplugged, and vehicles moved from your driveway.

Our crews are trained to incorporate the prep work into the move to create one, seamless moving process.
